The calibration must be performed in the following cases:
After a 20–minute warm up period
Prior to high precision waveform output
When the ambient temperature has changed more than +5 °C or less than -5 °C
from the previous calibration
Refer to the calibration and diagnostic screen to see if calibration has recently been
performed on the instrument. See Figure 3-60.
The calibration has completed when Done is displayed in the Calibration result
field. No calibration has been performed if the
– – – is displayed. The factory reset
also causes the
– – – to be displayed.

NOTE. The calibration data in the memory may be lost if the instrument is powered
off while the calibrations are running.
