SETTING DEFAULT HP-GL PEN COLORS

4 Edit the ﬁle and substitute the values you want for those in the ﬁle.

Color values can be any decimal number between 0.0 and 1.0.

For example, to change pen 4 to a purple color and a width of .5 mm, edit

ﬁle and change the line for pen number 4 to the

4 0.5 1.0 0.0 0.5

5 When you have ﬁnished editing the ﬁle, use one of the following methods to

ﬁle to the printer:

■ PC users: Use the DOS COPY command to send the ﬁle to the printer.

(Windows 3.1 users can also use the Copy command in the File

■ Workstation users: Send the ﬁle to the printer as you would any

PostScript ﬁle.
