Front panel indicators

The front panel includes these indicator

Indicator On Blinking Off

Power The printer

■ The printer is processing or printing an

■ The printer is in interactive mode: you have

pressed the Menu button.

■ The printer is performing a function, such as

warm-up or cleaning, that requires no user

interaction.

The printer is not

ready, or there is an

■ If the Power indicator is lighted, the printer

requires immediate user interaction (for

example, clear a media jam or close an open

door). Check the front panel message.

■ If the Power indicator is not lighted, the

printer detects a hardware error.

Normal operation:

there are no print

engine or controller

board errors.
